Italy is in recovery from COVID-19 and has begun reopening businesses slowly and thoughtfully. At Siciclando we have been monitoring the situation closely in Italy and around the world. We have spent the last few weeks reviewing our operations and working with our hotels to ensure safe environments when you arrive. We are also working with our hotels to revise cancellation policies and create options through the year.
The first priority is to stay healthy. The decision to travel this year varies among people. If you have scheduled a tour with us already or are thinking about a future tour for 2020 here are our new guidelines and cancellation policy updates.
Tours scheduled between June 1 through August 15: If you would like to change your tour departure, we are offering to credit your account for a future tour in Fall of 2020, 2021 or 2022. We will continue monitoring global changes and will update our policies regularly as we understand the situation.
Tours scheduled from September 1 through the end of 2020: If your tour is reserved during this period, we are still applying our current cancellation policy, allowing you to cancel 60 days before departure and waiving the $150 administrative fee in our current policies. If you would like to change dates for your current reservation, we can hold your deposit as a credit for your new dates. We will update you with changes and options as we learn more.
Considering a new reservation for 2020? We are happy to work with you to determine a tour and the best timing. We are revising our payment policy and extending final payment 30 days before the tour begins (final payments are usually expected 60 days before tour departure). We hope this will help with your decisions.
