My adventure with Siciclando began in the summer of 2013 when I joined as the Logistics Coordinator. It is my responsibility to set up reservations for each tour: lodgings, group meals, transportation and support of the tours. I am always behind the scenes, lurking “back stage.”
I can already say honestly that I am very happy to be a part of this team; I felt an immediate connection with the owners and other members of the Siciclando team. Surprisingly, there is no college degree for a Logistics Coordinator. My degree is in Natural Sciences and so far has not overlapped with my job.
My education and interest in nature define my philosophy: “Be gentle with the Earth.” This philosophy is a nice foundation for my work with Siciclando. Biking is a means of travel and discovery, but it is a gentler way, with the advantage of truly connecting with the landscapes and lifestyles of Italy.
Athletics have always been a part of my life. I was a member of the Italian Rowing Team that competed in the 2003 World Rowing cup. This passion has taught me the importance of fitness and pacing, another reason Siciclando was a good fit for me.
